Chameleons have zygodactylous feet which means that they have three toes facing forward and two toes facing the back. This allows them to grab tree branches. They have prehensile tails, witch means they can use their tails as a hand. Their tongues are longer than their bodies. It's fun to watch our chameleons catch crickets and meal worms with their long tongues!
Chameleons change color to blend in with their surroundings, but they also can change color to show their feelings. They can change to yellow, green, red, and even purple. Our chameleons sometimes get spots.
